1. Overview

Verbito is a Spanish verb conjugation learning application that provides interactive practice, quizzes, and reference tools. This privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

2. Information We Collect

Learning Progress

Your quiz scores, practice history, and learning statistics are stored locally on your device to track your progress and personalize your experience.

App Settings

Your preferences and customization choices within the app, such as preferred tenses, quiz difficulty, and display options.

Device Identification

On iOS, we use Apple's identifierForVendor to associate your in-app purchase with your device via our purchase-management provider (see Third-Party Services below). On Android, the purchase-management provider uses an anonymous app-user identifier instead. Neither is ever used for advertising or cross-app tracking, and the app does not collect the Android advertising ID or Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA).

Usage Analytics

We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used, so we can decide what to improve. It records:

• App interactions — a small, fixed set of events: an upgrade screen shown (and which screen showed it), a purchase started or completed, the rating prompt shown, a message sent through Contact the Developer, an update notice shown, and a practice milestone completed — plus standard events such as first launch, app sessions, and screen views. Events never include your name, email address, message text, or practice answers.
• Identifiers — a random app-instance identifier created by Firebase when the app is installed. It is reset if you delete and reinstall the app.
• Device and app information — device model, operating-system version, app version, language setting, and an approximate (country- or city-level) location that Google derives from your IP address. Google does not provide us with your IP address.

Analytics data is pseudonymous: we see counts and trends, not who you are. It is kept for up to 14 months and then deleted automatically, and it is not used for advertising or shared with advertisers.

Crash Reports

If the app crashes, Firebase Crashlytics sends us a crash report so we can find and fix the problem. A report contains the technical details of the crash (which part of the app failed), the device model, operating-system version, app version, free memory and disk space at the time, a random Crashlytics installation identifier, and the list of the app's analytics events leading up to the crash. It contains no learning data and no personal information. Crash reports are kept for 90 days and then deleted automatically.

Messages You Send Us (Contact the Developer)

Settings → Contact the Developer lets you send us a general message, a feature request, or a bug report. Nothing is sent unless you tap Send. A message contains the message text and its type; your email address, only if you enter one (optional for general messages, required for feature requests and bug reports so we can reply); and technical details that help us answer: the app version, operating-system version, device model, language setting, which screen you sent it from, and whether you have Verbito Pro. Messages are stored in our feedback database, hosted by our database provider, Supabase, and are read only by us.

3. How We Use Your Information

Your learning data is used exclusively to provide the app's functionality, including tracking your learning progress, personalizing practice sessions, and maintaining your preferences across sessions. Usage analytics and crash reports are used only to understand how the app is used and to fix problems. Messages you send us are used only to answer you and improve the app.

4. Data Storage

All learning data is stored locally on your device. Your learning progress remains on the device where it was created and is never sent to us. The data that leaves your device is limited to the purchase-validation data, usage analytics, crash reports, and messages described above.

RevenueCat

Verbito uses RevenueCat to validate and manage in-app purchases. When you make or restore a purchase, an anonymous app user identifier and purchase receipt data are processed by RevenueCat. RevenueCat does not receive your name, email address, contacts, or learning data. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy for details.

Google Firebase

Usage analytics and crash reports (section 2) are processed by Google through Firebase on our behalf, under the Firebase privacy and security terms.

Supabase

Messages you send through Contact the Developer are stored with our database provider, Supabase.

Verbito does not use any advertising frameworks or cross-app tracking services.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties. Your learning data remains on your device. The service providers above (Apple or Google Play, RevenueCat, Google Firebase, and Supabase) process data only on our behalf, for the purposes described in this policy.

7. Your Privacy Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Your learning data is stored locally on your device, so you have full control over it at all times; deleting the app removes it. To have a message you sent us deleted (including any email address you gave), or your purchase record deleted from RevenueCat, email us at the address below with the subject line “Data deletion request”, from the address you gave in your message (for an anonymous message, tell us roughly when you sent it and what it said). We will complete the deletion within 30 days. Usage analytics and crash reports are pseudonymous and not linked to your name or email, so we cannot look them up for one person; they are deleted automatically after 14 months (analytics) and 90 days (crash reports).

8. Data Security

Learning data is stored locally using the device's built-in security mechanisms. Everything the app sends — purchase data, usage analytics, crash reports, and messages to us — is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS). Our feedback database accepts new messages from the app but does not let the app read them back.

9. Children's Privacy

Verbito is an educational application suitable for all ages. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require any personal information to function. If a child has sent us a message through Contact the Developer, email us and we will delete it.

10. Data Retention

Your learning data is retained on your device for as long as you use the app; you can delete it at any time by removing the app from your device. Usage analytics are kept for up to 14 months and crash reports for 90 days, then deleted automatically. Messages you send us are kept until we have dealt with them or until you ask us to delete them.

11. International Users

Verbito processes all learning data locally on your device. Purchase-validation data is processed by Apple or Google Play and RevenueCat, usage analytics and crash reports by Google Firebase, and messages you send us by Supabase. These providers may process data in the United States and other countries.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new policy within the app and updating the "Last updated" date.
